The gentle lady, a woman who dedicated her life to raising her son and Logan, was very sick and the medicines were not cheap, hiring a clergyman to cure her illness was unthinkable due to the financial situation. Being a mercenary was the only plausible solution at the time. It was on a day like any other that they received a large mission and responsibility, a mission that would pay very well, that could be the end of their problems.
